Wiebes picks up where she left off in return after Giro disqualification

Lorena Wiebes has lived up to her status as the big favorite in the women’s Copenhagen Sprint in convincing fashion. The 27-year-old Dutch national champion from SD Worx-Protime returned to the peloton after her disqualification at the Giro d’Italia Women and immediately sprinted to victory. The men’s race follows on Sunday.
