Strade Bianche is an Italian gravel race in the spring. The race goes through Tuscany and has become extremely popular in a short time, due to the challenging course. In 2024, the eighteenth edition of the Strade Bianche will be held. This year, the one-day race is scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd. The course of the race has been the same for years. The Italian organization doesn't need to change anything, as in recent years, the race has been guaranteed to be spectacular with its grueling ride. Also this year, the race is 184 kilometers long and goes again over unpaved roads. The peloton finishes as every year in Piazza del Campo in Siena. Just before the finish line, there is a climb with maximum gradients of 16%.

Fabian Cancellara has the most overall wins to his name. The Swiss rider won the Strade Bianche three times. In 2008, 2012, and 2016, Cancellara was the winner of the one-day race in Tuscany. Michał Kwiatkowski can call himself a two-time winner of the Strade Bianche. The Polish cyclist won the Italian race in 2014 and 2017. Looking at the victories by country, Belgium and Switzerland are at the top. Both countries have won the Strade Bianche three times. Belgium with three different winners, Switzerland with one cyclist.
